Regulatory-intelligence platform

Real-time tracking of regulatory change across every market a major European tech company operates in. It scrapes the updates, runs fully-automated parliamentary trackers, and sits a hybrid SQL + vector retrieval layer over all of it — so briefings write and re-update themselves as new documents land. Detection, synthesis and metadata handled by the pipeline; in daily use by a ~70-person legal function.

Won the Work Rights track at AI Fixathon Amsterdam — 24 hours, two people. An accessibility-first web app that walks vulnerable workers through the UK employment-tribunal process: plain-language intake, deadline + case-journey tracking, document prep, and a streaming AI chatbot. 8 languages, with screen-reader, dyslexia and colourblind support built in from minute one.

Burnout detection for ER nurses

My Honours project, on the health & wellbeing track: catching burnout in ER nurses before it hits. PPG / HRV sensing and custom ESP32 hardware, measuring the physiological signal of chronic stress so it can be caught early. Analytics now, AI detection next.

i'm Ben. 20, based in Amsterdam. second-year Honours CS student at TU/e — top ~10% of my cohort, on the “Empowerment for Health & Wellbeing” track.

i started an AI automation internship at a major European tech company in march 2026 — building production systems inside an in-house legal function. a couple of months in, there's already real software a ~70-person team opens every morning. not slideshows, not pilots that never ship.

on the side i run BYK, my AI & automation studio, and i build my own tools because i can't not. the differentiator isn't vibes — it's real production experience at 20.

off the clock: 7+ years in the gym, BJJ, motorcycles, and strong opinions about food.
